Our vision is to see the Great Commission realized in Ghana as people give their lives to Christ and walk in freedom. We want to see passionate followers of Christ develop and grow in the Gifts of the Holy Spirit and see every follower of Jesus growing increasingly like him and helping others to do the same.

Our ministry welcomes volunteers who are willing to give of themselves to see the lives and hearts of the poor and needy transformed in the name of Jesus!

Our Story

Ghana Initiative began in 2013 as Helping Hands Reaching out in Love. At that time, our focus was on providing free healthcare to needy people in rural communities in and around the Eastern region of Ghana, West Africa. In the process, we shared the love of Jesus with those we came in contact with. In 2018 Ghana Initiative became an official 501(c)3 charitable organization.

Today, Ghana Initiative focuses on Preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the unsaved across the nation of Ghana. We still provide free medical clinics to the needy, but now we make a point of sharing Jesus with everyone we meet. Our evangelistic outreach teams travel across Ghana to reach the unreached and lead new souls into the Kingdom of God. We are Ordinary People Accomplishing Extraordinary Things, In Jesus Name!

Each year we see hundreds of souls saved and equally hundreds of people healed as we proclaim the Gospel and experience the signs that follow those who believe, Mark 16:17.

God is on the move in Ghana and we look to the future for what He has yet to do as we are obedient to HIs Word and fulfill the Great Commision today.
